Crumb's life - final update

Crumb, born on 20th January 2014 and passed on 6th November 2015

He was 1 year, 9 months and 18 days old, sadly did not make it to his 2nd birthday...

He went through bigh problems lately, but he had bad luck already as a baby.. He was born to Barča, litter had 16 babies and he hardly got to get fed. He was the smallest and underfed baby. Luckily my other girl Míša gave birth to 8 babies 5 days before and so Crumb was put to her litter to have better chance to eat and after then was put back to his mom...

He never was a problematic one. He was very shy and got easily scared sometimes. But he was a big cute squishy baby you could just hold and he was calm and let you do anything to him.

On beginning of summer 2015 he got very sick, he almost did not walk. Vet thought it was a little stroke but they gave him some medicine to see if it wasnt any illness.. it turned out to be just illnes and he was full of enregy in only 4 days...

But this last month or so, he grew a big bulges on both sides of cheeks.. his eyes were popped out more always but this time it was extreme..
He underwent a double surgery to remove both bulges that turned out to be big abscesses. Sadly they were so deep in his head so they couldnt remove it all.. they even called me durring the surgery that he might not survive and if it is worth it to continue... i told them to continue... Crumbs body will decide itself..

He survived and was getting better fast... but jsut few days after the surgery i found out that there are small bulges on both sides growing again! The surgery was very useless and in the end it caused him to have two open wounds on right side... sews didnt hold on that well to make skin grow together tight.. Pus started to get into his right ear... the big bulge on his left side was so big it blocked his ear and he didnt hear well... after the surgery i also lost nerves in right side of nose, he couldnt move whiskers there.. and he couldnt make tears so he had to take eye drops many times a day to keep the eye wet and not dry...

He didnt mind this all until two days ago when i found out that he started to turn head to the side.. the big bulge destroyed his inner ear and he started to lose balanc, couldnt climb nor simply sit on two legs.. he wasnt able to eat harder food as the abscess was pushing his jaw forward against his top teeth. He stopped being interested in sorroundings, he only kept sleeping and when he tried to do something like building a nest, it couldnt focus well as his balance was very off..

In arms he always looker around and got distracted easily or wanted to get back into the cage.. but now he jsut rested in arms and let you cuddle him and that was it... he got weak and tired and that was the sign for me to know that he is ready to go to heavens... And s he did todays morning...

Rest in peace my little baby and sleep well next to Roxie's grave..

(he holds a plush heart, i gave it to Roxie as well.. it is like a little ritual i do... and es his paw is black. I took an ink print of his paw and feet for the paper where is written his whole life...)
