Emergenci at the vet!

I was half sleeping in my bed but suddenly Míša woke me up around 10:30AM because i started to hear a very loud gaspin for air and even jumping every few seconds in a shock or something...

I picked Míša up to see how she is gasping for air by opening her mouth.. at that moment i had a flashback of Monchichi who had totally the same problem and he had to be put down because of fluid filling his lungs.. I could see how they will put Míša down in my mind...

I rushed to the vet.. bad thing was that mom had to go at work so i had to catch a bus. It was a big luck that the bus was coming right when i got to the station! The vet isnt far away but its hard to get there because of bad bus connections. I imagine how i will again have to skip the queue in the waiting room to be accepted first... luckily Míša somehow calmed down in the bus already.. she started to breath normally, jsut a bit harder but wasnt gasping for air anymore... but she was very tired, weak.. its jsut not her since Monchichi died... She got blind, lost lot of weight... she was at the vet like 2 weeks ago for antibiotics for cold, she had 280grams... underweight... at home she gained 10 more grams but later she lost them again...

At the vet i didnt have to skip anyone in the line as Míša was calm and didnt gasp for air or anything bad.. just was sleepy and tired..
Later vet checked her and said that her lungs are OKAY which was a big relief for me... it felt kinda suspicious that she would have the same problem like Monchichi did... But at the same time they didnt find any other problem.. I told them that sometimes she was so eager fo food that she swallowed it wrongly and started to choke, but never in this way, i always jsut massaged her neck to help her spit it out... yet she actually might eat something wrongly again and this bad... but i cant say its truth.

i explained them that she looked this tired for last two days already, she avoided her only pal in the cage and rather slept at the bottom of cage in a hay hosue where Monchichi spent his last weeks... Also when she takes some food in mouth, she just holds it in mouth and first brushes her ears-to-nose part like if something bothered her before eating.. but every time?

She also lsot fur behind her left ear, maybe from that brushing... She also let me hold her in posittions she doesnt like and didnt fight back.. but today she did fight back so at least something showed her strenght.

Vet gave her an injection shot of antibiotics that will last 2 weeks in her body, it should support respiratory stuff and also hunger and gaining weights.. Vet also told me that there was one woman with animal who visited the vet every month for the same shot, the every 2 weeks for the shot and then every week for the shot and thats already the time to decide what is better to do... so now i will jsut keep an eye on her for next two weeks..

But for some reason i dont believe it will get better... she seems so sad and down since Monchichi left and she lsot her sight... its almost like if she was giving up.. she jsut seems to be destitute since alot of friends left since last november and since she cant see... she doesnt seem to enjoy anything, doesnt run in wheel (i can understand that tho) but she no more licks my hand.. before she kept licking my whole palm for the whole day if i let her.. now she jsut gives a tired kiss on lips and thats it...

I have the feeling for some time that she will pass away next... there is still her son Devil who also never had any problems, he is 2 years and 1 month old now, Míša is 2 and half year old.. they are already old so anything can appear all of sudden, yeahh... Devil is that type of rat who never actually joined any activity with other rats, he rather sleeps or just lays around so i believe he wouldnt mind to be the last rat in the cage... which i believe will happen...

I can see Míša is just giving up on everything so fast... she lost her most favourited friend Monchichi, she cant see anymore, she also lost two more friends from the cage... i can feel her sadness alot..it is so visible..i know her time is coming, but i hope she will not decide to leave this soon...I dont really want to put her down jut because she feels down.. she doesnt suffer... i know she is happiest when i have her in my arms so i pay lot of attention to her lately so she wont feel that lonely..

Well... i will see in those 2 weeks tho...
