Spider-Man movies - stamp

I've jsut seen The Amazing Spiderman movie, and so here is my opinion of this new movie versus the old first movies:

There is alot of cartoons of Spiderman, there is alot of comics of him as well. I have been growing my childhood on a cartoon spiderman you can see here: [link]
and so my opinion will be built mainly according to this cartoon and then the movies themselves.

Spider-man movies
-Story: the theme of all stories were made awesome, everything made a sense, the story made you almost live it through. Yet there was too much of serious scenes, too. I know there were more jokes and funny scenes in the cartoon versions, so sometime it made me feel bored as well. But the theme itself was built very very well

-Effects: an awesome effects, nice moments and details for movements, but there was too much of dark effects, so you almost can't see what's happening there.

-Spider-man's actor: to be honest, i don't like the actor they chose for Spiderman, he looks too old, ugly face and stupid behavior. I know Peter is supposed to be a poor nerd getting an awesome power, but who says that the nerds must be this ugly? From the cartoon version the parker is not that young too, but still he has some nice face and doesn't look like having body of somebody else.
Plus the actor was that afraid of making any a bit more dangerous scene, so he used a stuntman every time. While for example the actor of that old aunt granny wanted to make all dangerous scenes herself. Being more scared than a granny? How poor.

-Spider-man's czech voice actor: Because i', from czech Republic, i have to pay an attention to a czech job of dubbing as well. The czech voice actor for Spider man was horrible as well, the voice don't fit him really and it made him look even more stupid and ridiculous.

-Mary Jane: the actor of Mary Jane has an ugly face as well and it really does NOT look like the Mary Jane from ANY cartoon or comic i have ever seen. It's just not her. The actor played her well, but the face simply doesn't fit her.

-Costumes: The costume of Spiderman was cool, mainly the eyes, but the costume looked too plastic, not realistic. The costumes of goblin and Octopus were made better with more detail, for these, thumbs up more than for spidermans costume

The Amazing Spider-man movie
-Story: this all looks more like inspired from the cartoon show i showed up in the link, which made me more curious about it all. For some people it was weird that they made a new movie that has nothing to do with the previous movies, but i am glad for it, the story was totally about something else, which made it look more original, because if they chose the same characters, people would call it a remake or something, which is not. There is a doctor turning into a lizard, but the story itself is a bit confusing because there happens alot of stuff that has nothing to do with each other... at the beginning peter is looking for a man who killed his uncle, but if i remember well, he never found him, because all of sudden he pays attention to the lizard instead, there was almost no sadness about his uncle dying, too. Simply it's too chaotic, to understand what to pay attention to first, but somewhere in the middle of movie it gets better and calmed already, so it is understable well and the story continues understable as well. I also like the fact he didn't get the power of having nets in his hands, but he had to create own little machines on his hands that makes these nets instead, right like in the cartoon version. Eventhough its true that having the nets right in hands seems easier.
What i love the most is that there is a LOT of funny scenes too, sometime they are mixed even with the serious scenes, which is good, because it makes watches pay an attention more, if they have a chance to laugh here and there too. But what i hate is that the Spider man shows up his identity to others too much

-Effects: the effects are amazing and better than in the first movies. Yet i saw a bit mistakes too, but i think the people who are focused at the movie itself won't see them that easy, so it is okay. There are an awesome moments, i saw it in 3-D which makes the moments even better, it makes you feel like if you were right in the movie, mainly when it shows Spidey swing between building on his net.

-Spider-man's actor: im not sure, but i think the actor of this spiderman played in the Twilight movie as well, his face reminds me of somebody, but i dont care, he fits the role of Peter Parker more, he is a weak nerd too, but with sexier face that is also similar to the cartoon Peter, which is awesome. Better hairdo, too. But he doesn't have too much of muscles, which makes Spidey look a bit fragile xD But still, sexy enough for me >w> I dont like boy with too much of muscles

-Spider-man's czech voice actor: the voice for this Spiderman is awesome, fits the character well, eventhough it is true he sounds a bit like pubertal boy with mutating voice

-Mary Jane: there is NO any Mary Jane...Instead of her they used another character Gwen Stacy that is in the cartoon version as well ([link]) which is Mary Jane's friend if i remember well. Peter always had some feelings for her in the cartoon, too, but he was more into Jane what i remember, thats why i dont understand they used only Gwen here... But at least she is similar to the cartoon version, has some good face, but czech voice actor screwed her voice, she sounds like some old momma...

-Costumes: the costume of this spiderman is awesome, better than the soctume from the first movies, you can see the seams and also the fabrics details, so it doesn't look that plastic, it's shiny, which i like as well, but what i hate is that it is not that tight to his body, it makes some folds around his neck and sides, that looks bad. The eyes look more like from osme fly, not too well, but it fits the rest of shiny costume at least... the soctume of the lizard looks cool, just sad that he doesnt have a longer mouth and clothes like in the cartoon ([link]) but yeah, it can't be perfectly the same, because then why should we go watch it when we should know it all from the cartoons and comics already? so i think its good they used also some own imagination to make it different and so more original

so i like the amazing spiderman more, its better in some ways, and its bad in some ways, which counts also for the first movies, yet my favourited one still remains this new movie and they already plan to make continuation as well! So lets hope they wont screw it up, when it looks good so far already!
